How Choicelunch Ensures Accurate Lunch Delivery
Choicelunch uses scanning technology, color labels, and personalized lunch bags to make sure each student receives the correct lunch and sides.
Scanning Technology and Color Labels:
Each hot lunch entree has a color label (e.g., red = Chicken Tenders, green = Spaghetti with Meat Sauce) to identify the meal.
School staff receive a digital Daily Lunch Report showing each student’s entree and whether they will receive a side bag.
Personalized Lunch Bags:
Each lunch bag includes the student’s name and the sides ordered.
Labels also indicate which colored entree should be pulled from the oven.
Side bags with snacks, drinks, and fruit/veggies are prepared the night before and stored in school-specific barcoded tubs.
In the morning, tubs are scanned into cold transport containers for delivery to each school.
Emergency Lunches:
Each school receives a limited number of entree-only Emergency Lunches in case a child forgets their lunch.
Handling Mistakes:
While errors are rare, they can occur, especially when many students are served at once.
If your child does not receive their correct lunch, email support@choicelunch.com with your child’s name, school, and the date. Choicelunch will correct the issue promptly.
Choicelunch is committed to providing a safe, accurate, and seamless lunchtime experience for every student.
